Save the date – next week is Global Learning Week! This is a collaboration between Microsoft, Minecraft, and Flipgrid. It’s a series of free professional development sessions that will feature success stories and tips from technology-passionate teachers. It’s an excellent way to receive professional development as we close out this school year and look intentionally to the future.
Sessions are offered all week, and will be live streamed on the Microsoft Education Facebook page beginning at 9am Pacific Time. Sessions are built around different topics, aimed to celebrate what has been learned during this period of remote learning. You can join any sessions that are of interest!
A few sessions to highlight:
- Tuesday, June 23: Literacy – Engaging Every Student (featuring Microsoft Learning Tools, Accessibility Checker, and Made by Dyslexia)
- Thursday, June 25: Building and Cultivating Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, and Creativity (featuring Minecraft, Hacking STEM, and MakeCode)
- Friday, June 26: Building Meaningful Relationships Inside and Outside the Walls of the Classroom (featuring Minecraft, Flipgrid, and Microsoft Teams)
