Need STEM Clock Hours? Here are a few options for you!

Ambitious Science Teaching book study through CCS.  This book is filled with bite-sized teaching moves that support student learning not only in science, but in other content areas as well.  Sign up by December 12 for the class beginning January 16.

Computational Thinking and Coding for Every Student book study through CCS or ISD.  This book shows how to introduce coding at any grade level and in any content area, building on things you’re already doing in your classroom.  If you’re interested, sign up for the CCS course here by December 12.  You will then be given a choice of taking the CCS or ISD version, which differ in terms of clock hours and potential pay.  Both start on January 16.

Introduction to Computational Thinking for Every Educator, offered through ISTE.org.  Through this online course you’ll increase your awareness of computational thinking,  experiment with CT-integrated activities, and create a plan to incorporate CT into your instruction.  We’ve set it up in True North Logic so you can earn clock hours.  Sign up by December 18  for the session beginning on February 10.
