This year’s Back to School Tech Day for secondary teachers will be August 18 from 8:30 to 11:30 at the Admin Building. It will be a bit different this year. Read on to find out the details.
The start of the 2023-2024 school year is just around the corner, and along with that comes another year of tech trainings and access to new money for attending those trainings.
This year, we are starting off with an opportunity to earn some of those 2023-2024 dollars and get started with building out your courses in Canvas. We are offering a supported drop-in session on August 18 from 8:30 to 11:30.
We will be set up in Mt. Rainier conference room at the Ad Building. During that time, all secondary teachers are encouraged to drop by and work on organizing and building out assets in Canvas. This is a great opportunity to dust off the cobwebs and get questions answered so that you can be ready to go with your courses.
We are also offering sessions on Canva, Skyward and DyKnow, however hese sessions will be targeted to toward new-to-the-district teachers interested in learning about these tools work. We will be running short intros /walk-throughs along with Q&A that will repeat each hour for these sessions
Feel free to stop by for a little bit or camp out and stay the whole time. We will be there to support you.
