Did you know that you and your students are able to create calendar events and to-do list items? As the teacher, you can create events (beyond assignments) for your classes. Students can create events/to-do list items for their own Canvas calendar (much like a virtual planner). Students associated with a Group can also add to-do list items or events for the group.

You are able to add class events that are not tied to your gradebook or can create to-do list items. Pages also offer the feature of being able to add them to student’s to-do lists.
How this supports students
