DyKnow Communication – Questions

DyKnow Communication

DyKnow allows teachers to communicate with students while in active monitoring session in 3 ways:

  • Student Understanding
  • Questions
  • Send a Message

All of these tools are available on the right side of the DyKnow monitoring screen. This post will review how to use the Questions communication tool.

Questions

In the Questions section (the question mark icon within a circle), teachers ask custom questions. The questions asked must be:

  • Multiple Choice
  • True/False
  • Yes/No

Click on the ? on the right panel, and then click the blue “Ask a Question” button.

Click on the “Create New Question” button, and type in the question, select the type of question, and enter the possible responses and correct response if applicable and click “send” to send the question to students. The question is then added to a question bank that can be used again.

Once students respond, the responses will be seen in the right panel. Click on each response to see the student data for who responded and their responses.
