Seesaw Activities Library has taken off like crazy. There are so many activities to choose from by grade level and content area. And you can take those activities and edit them as your own or even start from scratch something that goes perfectly with what your students learning. But how do those pre-made activities get those cool Seesaw icons to show up in the directions. Well, if you know the secret (not so secret) codes you can make your Activities look just like the pros. Here is how you can do this in two simple steps.
Step 1: Get your hands on the Seesaw Icon Shortcuts for Activities
Step Two: Type in the text shortcut when creating Activity directions and it will transform into the icon after you tap SAVE! Use these shortcuts in the “Student Instructions” portion of Activities. Take a look at the before and after pictures below.
The icon shortcut codes are a great visual cue for students and helps them to follow the Activity directions accurately.
