Good news for those of you looking for a way to securely quiz your students using Canvas.
ISD is bringing LockDown Browser back.
This tool allows teachers to create a quiz in Canvas that will keep the students in the quiz, and prevent them from opening other windows or apps on the computer while taking the quiz.
You may remember that wISD had LockDown Browser for the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Those of you who used LockDown Browser for quizzes last year will be able to turn them back on.

We are also adding a training on LockDown Browser to the BTS. We will offer two sessions in January. Both will be on Zoom. The first session will be on Tuesday, January 10 from 3:15 to 4:00. The second session will be on Wednesday, January 11 from 7:15 to 8:00. We will use the same Zoom link we’ve used for our previous sessions. Look for an email from your Tech TOSA with more information.
