CTRL+K might just be your new best friend. When you need to insert a link (for an image or highlighted text) you can quickly copy the link from the original source (CTRL+C) and then in Canvas or other website/document choose CTRL+K to launch the add-link. Here is an example in Canvas after highlighting the text:

CTRL-X Cut
CTRL-C Copy
CTRL-V Paste
CTRL-Z Undo (another favorite)

It makes life easier! That’s it. You can use this trick in Canvas, Outlook, Word, anywhere you are inserting links.
