Classroom Hacks – Use Desktop Shortcuts to Get Students Places Faster
My classroom hack is both for teaching students, but also for personal productivity… Adding hyperlinks to emails and documents.
Of course, you could just add full links, but if they’re long that can sometimes make your documents or emails look clunky.
To add a hyperlink right into a sentence,
Highlight the word of phrase that you want to link, and then Inset -> Hyperlink and you can put in the URL. It will then turn blue (highlighted) so that you know it’s live.
It’s an easy way to share additional resource links, or send people straight to a website or online document while keeping your emails, documents, etc. looking nice and clean!

We’d also love for you to check out the band Clipping. and Sub Pop Records who have generously allowed us to use the song A Better Place in our show. You can also find Clipping.’s music on the TV show The Mayor.
