Code.org believes that every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science, and that the reasons are far more varied than simply having a strong resume. Critical thinking, logic, persistence, and creativity help students excel at problem-solving in all subject areas, no matter what their age.
Teachers interested in learning more may sign up for a free workshop. Attendees receive a curriculum guide, swag bag, clock hours, and are eligible for technology compensation. Valerie Buck, Instructional Technology Specialist, is our Code.org district representative. She is happy to answer questions or assist you in your classroom this fall.
Next available workshop is November 5th at the Administration building from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Go to PD Place to register!
