This week, Code.org announced that they have partnered with the folks behind Minecraft to create a Minecraft module for Hour of Code.
Your guide is Jens, the lead programmer behind Minecraft.
You get to choose between coding Alex or Steve (your students will know why that’s cool.)
This module teaches code similarly to the Star Wars module using blocks but adds the use of repeat statements.
And yes, Jonas liked it (his hour of code has turned into days of code.)

Some of our teachers are already planning to use this Minecraft coding module with their students! You should too!
